As more and more people bring their personal devices into work, device connection problems proliferate, placing a strain on already overtaxed IT departments.
According to a recent survey of 4,927 individuals by security firm AVG, more than half said that they have trouble connecting all of their devices together or haven’t even tried to connect their devices.
Close to one-quarter of respondents said they experience technical difficulties every week, including device freezing, slow devices, or program or app crashing.
One third of respondents spend over 10 minutes connecting two devices, the survey found.
The top three tech time wasters are slow or unreliable Internet connection, email management and multiple usernames and passwords.
