When did you first access the Internet?

The Internet as we know it came into being in the early 1980s, but it wasn’t until the World Wide Web was born that it entered into mainstream consciousness. Now, the Internet is available almost everywhere, and it can be accessed through such a wide range of devices it would be impossible to list them all here.

We all take the Internet somewhat for granted these days, but it wasn’t so long ago when we would have taken our first tentative steps onto this world-changing technology. Do you remember your first time?

You don’t need to be too specific, but we would like to find out roughly when most joined the interconnected throng that now spans the world. So, when did you first access the Internet?
